In 1977 she was formally launched with triumph in Redondo Beach Ca and post sea trials and detailing was then delivered to the owner who commissioned her. Fred Preiss completed their new build sailing yacht in the United States. The core hull was constructed with wooden/GRP composite (cold-molded). The sailing yacht superstructure component is made predominantly from composite. With a beam of 7 metres or 20 feet CHRISTINE has moderate room. She has a fairly deep draught of 4.3m (13ft). She had refit maintenance and modification undertaken by 1998.
